A classically-trained actor, Sarianna segued seamlessly into the roles of Voice Artist and Audio Book Narrator. With degrees in Theater and English Literature, and a background in broadcast journalism, writing, and producing, she taps a vast body of experience, talent, training and discipline; bringing rare value to every project she undertakes.
In addition to her years of acting in New York, New Jersey and New England, portraying such classic characters as Blanche DuBois in “A Streetcar Named Desire,” Portia in “A Merchant of Venice,” Anna in “Burn This,” Titania in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” and Elizabeth Proctor in “The Crucible,” Sarianna has directed productions from classical to original productions, among them: “Waiting for Godot,” “The Diary of Anne Frank,” “Touch of the Poet,” and “Otherwise Engaged.” She recently appeared in PlaySlam 2018 with OdysseyStage Company in Chapel Hill, NC, and at TheaterSounds of Hudson Valley, New York.
A talented Audio Book Narrator with many titles to her credit, Sarianna is the voice of Lindsay Powell in the popular “Death By Chocolate” cozy mystery series by USA Today award-winning author, Sally Berneathy. She is currently narrating Book Seven: Guns, Wives & Chocolate. Her narration of Return of the Bones, by Belinda Vasquez Garcia, garnered the 2014 International Latino Award for Best Latino Audio Book.
Sarianna has also worked extensively in radio. She helmed a live talk show which she wrote, recorded and edited, produced and delivered daily on AM radio in New Jersey. To strengthen her narration, Sarianna has studied with top teachers/talents in the field: Scott Brick, Pat Fraley, Paul Ruben.
Sarianna works from her fully-equipped studio in Chapel Hill, NC where she collaborates with highly skilled audio engineers, as well as travelling to studios for narration/voice projects
